Naikan
Japanese Introspective Practice
The Path of Reconciliation
"Naikan - Japanese Instrospective Pratice, "The Path of Reconciliation", constitutes the Second Treasure of the Spiritual Energy Program “The Way of the Four Treasures.” It follows the First Treasure Jin Shin Jyutsu & Teate and its effect is supported by the Third Treasure, Ajikan Japanese Meditation.
Techniques
"The Path of Reconciliation" is inspired by "Naikan," a Japanese method of structured introspection. It invites you to revisit your relationships and personal history through three fundamental questions:
1. What have I received?
2. What have I given?
3. What harm have I caused?
This guided reflection, conducted in a caring environment, allows you to explore memories, cultivate gratitude, and become aware of the bonds that connect us to others. The psycho-emotional support associated with Naikan encourages gentle inner transformation, without judgment or confrontation.
