About Katja Hanska

Katja Damame-Hanska, a practitioner of holistic medicine trained in various spiritual traditions of East Asia, has specialised in psycho-spiritual and energy-based guidance. She has accompanied many individuals on their path of inner transformation — through emotional release, stress management, energy psychology, and contemplative practices rooted in Eastern wisdom.
Initially trained in the method of the Barbara Ann Brennan School of Healing, she deepened her approach with solid expertise in energy psychology, integrating EFT, mindfulness, ACT, and humanistic psychotherapy tools. Over time, her work evolved to include practices drawn from traditional Chinese, Tibetan, and Japanese medicine, as well as spiritual approaches from Japan, such as mantra therapy, Ajikan meditation, Naikan reflection, and the teachings of Shingon Buddhism.
Her professional journey has been profoundly shaped by humanitarian engagement with vulnerable and displaced populations, giving her an intimate understanding of the many dimensions of human suffering. This grounding in the real, combined with a rich inner life, led her to develop a unique integrative approach — uniting care of the body, emotional awareness, soul awakening, and vibrational speech.
Embracing a free, non-dogmatic spiritual path, Katja now offers a form of transmission free from commercial logic.
What she shares today is the natural extension of a long inner maturation: living spiritual teachings, inspired by the wisdom of East Asia and other traditions encountered along the way — from Tibetan Bön to Sufi paths, Hawaiian chants to the mystical narratives of nomadic peoples, including the depth psychology of C.G. Jung.
Since 2020, she has developed the Wu Center — a center for research and study of traditional Asian medicine — which she founded to preserve and transmit ancestral healing knowledge from the East. Today, she has stepped away from professional activity and has chosen to devote herself to free transmission, through cycles of teachings and awakening practices accessible to all, in a rhythm that honours each individual’s inner pace.
To support this new orientation, she created “Katja Hanska – Sagesses & Médecines d'Ailleurs." a personal online space gathering the essence of her current work. This website is the natural continuation of her inner journey — a digital sanctuary where Asian traditions meet lived experience, embodied wisdom, and impulses of transformation.
Through this website, Katja Hanska continues her commitment to sharing grounded, subtle, and deeply human teachings — a medicine for the soul, silent and resonant, for those seeking to know themselves better, to find peace, or to rise.
A few Testimonials from those she has guided in the past remain visible — traces of a now-closed cycle. They are available on the website and on Google Reviews.
