Spiritual Medicine

A spiritual medicine between Eastern wisdom and depth psychology

The Spiritual Medicine offered within the framework of the Energetic & Spiritual Program lies at the intersection of two great traditions: the millennia-old wisdom of Shingon Esoteric Buddhism and the depth psychology founded by Carl Gustav Jung. This path of inner exploration combines contemplative meditation, mantra recitation, and symbolic exploration of the unconscious mind.

Shingon Philosophy: Healing through Spiritual Awakening

According to Shingon philosophy, deep healing arises from a conscious reconnection to our true essence — a spiritual awakening that transcends emotional disturbances and repetitive mental patterns.

Jungian Individuation: A Quest for Psychological Autonomy

Similarly, Jung describes individuation as a process of conscious integration of the unconscious aspects of our psyche, leading to genuine psychological maturity and autonomy. This awakening, both spiritual and psychological, corresponds to an expanded and harmonious awareness of oneself and the world. Individuation thus represents a form of psychological enlightenment, enabling the authentic realization of the individual self.

A Convergence of Two Traditions

Though rooted in different contexts, these two paths converge in their emphasis on the vital importance of a deep inner dialogue to restore balance and attain psychological and spiritual harmony.

Ajikan & Japanese Mantra Therapy: Meditative Tools for Inner Harmony

Ajikan — the central meditation of Shingon, and one of the treasures explored in The Path of the Four Treasures — uses sacred sounds and the visualization of archetypal symbols to facilitate profound states of consciousness, enabling the exploration and integration of unconscious content. This practice echoes Jungian concepts of archetypes and the collective unconscious, allowing us to harmonize the unknown aspects of our being.

Combined with traditional Japanese Mantra Therapy, this meditative approach offers deep regulation of stress, emotions, and the mind, and provides meaningful support in healing psycho-emotional imbalances.

An Inner Journey Toward Transformation

Through these practices, you will learn to use breath, sound, and symbol to explore your inner depths, illuminate your shadow zones, and initiate true inner transformation. When paired with Japanese Mantra Therapy, this approach becomes a powerful catalyst for healing, calming the mind and emotions, and enhancing clarity and insight. Through the resonance of sacred sounds, it also nurtures subtle realignment and spiritual connection.

A Living Space for Ongoing Exploration

This Spiritual Medicine section will continue to grow over time, guided by inspiration, shared practices, and the resonances of the moment.
