Katja Hanska-Damame is an Energy Psychology practitioner, AMDR specialist, and Emotional Intelligence coach, trained in “Non-Conventional Healing Practices of Energy Medicine” following the Barbara Ann Brennan School of Healing method. She has a strong foundation in energy psychology and has honed her expertise in psycho-emotional coaching, focusing particularly on emotional release related to physical and psychological suffering.

Passionate about East Asian Art and Philosophy, and deeply influenced by her Eurasian heritage, Katja enriches her practice with traditional Chinese, Tibetan, and Japanese medicine practices.

Her humanitarian work and unique integrative approach to psychoemotional support blend Eastern philosophies and energy practices with modern techniques like ACT, mindfulness, EFT, AMDR, and more, fostering a compassionate, secure space for individualized healing.

Her personal and professional journey, as well as her previous humanitarian commitments to underserved and displaced populations, have given her a deep understanding of human suffering. As a result, Katja has developed a unique psycho-emotional support approach that integrates Eastern philosophical and spiritual teachings, blending Asian body energy practices with modern coaching techniques and individual support methods such as ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), mindfulness, EFT (Emotional Focused Therapy), AMDR (Trauma Desensitization through Alternating Movements, inspired by EMDR), acupressure, Rolfing, and more.

This therapeutic combinaison enables her to tailor her approach to the specific needs of those in distress, offering compassionate and empathetic support in a secure environment. Katja provides individualised care to help clients overcome emotional and psychological challenges. Furthermore, through her mastery of Asian bodywork techniques, Katja offers a holistic framework that promotes health maintenance, mental balance, and peace of mind.

Since 2020, Katja has focused on developing the Wu Center for Therapy, Studies, and Research of Traditional Asian Medicine. The center aims to preserve ancestral healing traditions by promoting knowledge, study, and therapeutic practice of various East Asian traditions. This reflects her commitment to integrating research, teaching, and conventional practice, emphasizing traditional healing methods and their therapeutic potential.

Certified as a Reiki Usui Ryoho Teate Master Teacher, Katja continues to explore and integrate diverse healing modalities into her practice, reflecting her deep commitment to supporting the healing and growth of all aspects of the human being.
