Psycho-Energy: A holistic approach to harmonizing body, mind, and soul
As the name suggests, Psycho-Energy is an alternative medicine approach derived from conventional psychology and energy medicine. It combines modern knowledge of human psychological functioning with ancestral practices of energetic harmonization to act on the physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of the human being.
Drawing on Japanese traditions and enriched with contemporary tools of psycho-emotional support, psycho-energy aims to restore inner balance, release energy blockages, and foster lasting transformation. It is a path toward deep harmony between body, mind, and soul.
Why a Japanese approach to psycho-energy?
I chose to rely on the Japanese approach to develop my psycho-energy practice because it embodies values and principles that deeply resonate with me. The elegance and simplicity of Japanese traditions are reflected in their ability to harmonize body, mind, and soul with great subtlety. Unlike more explicit or direct approaches, Japanese practices favor the respect of silence, the unspoken, and the implicit, allowing each person the space needed to explore their own inner path.
Japanese philosophy also values beauty in imperfection (wabi-sabi), the ephemeral, and the respect of life’s natural rhythm. These concepts are expressed in their therapeutic methods through deep listening to the body and mind, and attention to invisible yet essential details. This approach invites us to embrace every step of the transformation process with gentleness and patience.
On a psychological level, Japanese practices like Naikan and Ajikan offer respectful and compassionate introspection, free from judgment or confrontation. They allow one to revisit emotions and relationships with gratitude and clarity, while cultivating lasting inner serenity.
By choosing these traditions to guide my practice, I aim to offer my clients a space filled with elegance, depth, and respect. It is an invitation to discover another way of being in harmony with oneself and with the world.
The fundamentals of my psycho-energy practice
My approach to psycho-energy is unique in that it combines elements from conventional psychology and energy medicine while drawing deeply from Japanese traditions. These fundamentals reflect my personal vision of holistic well-being, where every dimension of the human being – physical, emotional, and spiritual – is interconnected.
1. Vital energy as a guiding thread
I believe that our well-being primarily depends on the harmonious circulation of energy throughout the body and mind. When this energy is blocked or out of balance, it can manifest as physical tension, repressed emotions, or limiting mental patterns. My work is to restore this harmony using gentle yet powerful energetic techniques.
2. A holistic and respectful approach
Each person is unique, and my support is adapted to their specific needs. I place great importance on listening, honoring each individual’s natural rhythm, and creating a compassionate space where one can explore their inner resources.
3. The elegance and depth of Japanese traditions
The Japanese practices I incorporate into my method – such as Jin Shin Jyutsu, Naikan, and Ajikan – embody values I hold dear: elegance, depth, respect for silence, and attention to subtle details. They offer a gentle yet effective path to reconcile the body, mind, and soul.
4. A lasting inner transformation
My goal is not merely to soothe immediate symptoms but to support my clients through a deep and lasting transformation. By working on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels, I help them regain a holistic balance that fosters personal growth and fulfilment.
The techniques
In my psycho-energy practice, I integrate several complementary techniques to meet each person’s unique needs. These methods are brought together in “The Way of the Four Treasures,” a program I developed to guide individuals through emotional challenges or psychological distress toward overall well-being.
1. The Vital Breath – Jin Shin Jyutsu & Teate
The Vital Breath is based on the Japanese art of Jin Shin Jyutsu, a practice of energy harmonization using light touch on specific points known as “Safety Energy Locks.” Combined with Teate (therapeutic touch or light massage), it directly supports the flow of vital energy in the body.
Benefits:
- Improved blood and lymphatic circulation
- Relief from physical tension
- Deep relaxation and calming of the nervous system
2. Reconciliation – Naikan
Reconciliation is a Japanese introspective practice that invites one to revisit their relationships with gratitude and insight. It is based on the Naikan method, a reflection guided by three fundamental questions (*What have I received? What have I given? What harm have I caused?*).
Benefits:
- Emotional relief through greater self-understanding
- Strengthened interpersonal relationships
- Release of old wounds and inner transformation
3. Elevation – Ajikan
Elevation uses the Ajikan meditation, derived from Shingon esoteric Buddhism, centered on the sacred character “A.” This practice involves symbolic visualization, controlled breathing, and sacred gestures (mudras) to purify karmic imprints.
Benefits:
- Enhanced mental clarity and reduced intrusive thoughts
- Spiritual awakening and reconnection with one’s essence
- Inner expansion and lasting peace
4. The Soul’s Song – Japanese Mantra Therapy
The Soul’s Song explores the vibrational power of sacred mantras to balance subtle body energies while calming the mind. These meditative sounds foster deep inner transformation.
Benefits:
- Emotional release through sound vibrations
- Deep mental relaxation
- Profound connection with the self
By combining these four treasures – The Vital Breath, Reconciliation, Elevation, and The Soul’s Song – this program offers a complete path to inner harmony and holistic fulfillment.
